Equitable Communities has been granted support from the Graduate Center, City University of New York, won the Yale Alumni Nonprofit Alliance Showdown in 2014 and received the Pioneer Award at the U.N. from International Council for Caring Communities in 2016. Equitable Communities has also participated in discussions on developing cities of the future at the UN and at conferences abroad, such as at Windsor Castle.
